Intern - A&P Mechanic

WHAT YOU'LL DO

As a member of Epic Flight Support, the Airframe & Powerplant Intern will participate as a valuable member of the team. This is a paid internship available to students currently enrolled in an Accredited A&P program, or recently graduated from an A&P program. The intern will gain real-world experience doing a variety of tasks related to Epic E1000GX Aircraft. Additional tasks may include:

  • Assist experienced A&P mechanics in troubleshooting and repairing aircraft by carefully following oral or written instructions and detailed written procedures
  • Remove, clean, inspect, and replace aircraft components following training and written procedures
  • Ensure the work area is maintained in a clean and safe manner
  • Clean and detail aircraft as needed

WHAT YOU BRING TO THE TEAM

  • Required: Must be currently enrolled in an Accredited A&P Program, and working towards getting your Airframe & Powerplant Mechanic or AMT License 
  • Newly graduated students with an A&P License are encouraged to apply. Full time positions are available
  • Avionics Experience helpful - training is provided
  • A positive teachable attitude with a willingness to help any person on the team with any task
  • Excellent attention to detail
  • Good problem-solving skills and the ability to work well with a team
  • Professional appearance and excellent customer service skills
  • Must be authorized to work in the U.S. for any employer without sponsorship now or in the future
