Regional Residence Manager in a Unique Hospitality Role

An executive couple with a well-established Family Office is seeking a Regional Residence Manager for their Greenwich, CT residence with some travel to their New York residences.

 

This individual will work with the Property Managers at each residence and the principal’s traveling hospitality team to address their needs and preferences in a timely and professional manner.

 

Responsibilities:  

  • Serve as the principals’ primary POC for all Hospitality requests at their Connecticut and New York properties.
  • Oversee daily operation logistics and hospitality needs.
  • Conduct daily checks with detailed checklists to ensure family preferences are in place.
  • Oversee wardrobe management with the housekeeping staff.
  • Manage and update inventories, SOP’s, and checklists.
  • Maintain PAR levels across relevant departments.
  • Organize special events for the family and oversee F&B servers.
  • Work closely with the Property Managers to ensure a proactive approach to maintenance.
  • Train and develop staff.
  • Create and coordinate detailed memos (logistics, bookings, accommodation) for family visits/trips.
  • Assist with driving the family and errands as needed.
  • Handle administrative work, respond to communication promptly, and manage information on SharePoint.

 

Qualifications:

  • The successful candidate will have prior experience caring for and maintaining fine homes or luxury hospitality properties, or yachts.
  • Set and maintain the standard of hospitality within the residences.
  • Strong Housekeeping and Food & Beverage background
  • Keen attention to detail.
  • Intuitive by nature, able to anticipate the principals’ needs and naturally strong at prioritizing.
  • Professional and dynamic with an ability to work well under pressure.
  • Strong work ethic.
  • Experience managing successful teams.
  • Computer literate, tech savvy, and experience working with Microsoft products.

 

Schedule:

As necessary to satisfactorily perform the duties of the position. This role will include some Saturdays, Sundays, and holidays as required. Hours vary during family residency months, guest visits, and events. The busiest months are these residences are May, June, September, and October.
