Job Summary:

Exciting new opportunity to start and to join an innovative, community-based behavioral health and intellectual/developmental disabilities services organization located in South Georgia.  Georgia Pines Community Service Board is a public, not-for-profit organization with an annual budget of $25M and a diverse workforce of 300 direct-care and support staff.  We provide services to 6 rural counties with several locations. We strive to provide the highest quality, evidence-based services in the least restrictive settings. 

Under general supervision, provides first response travel coverage as directed.  The work includes covering outpatient sites, including but not limited to, Thomas, Decatur, Mitchell, and Colquitt Counties.  Additionally, performs a variety of general secretarial, clerical, and administrative support functions/processes or a few specialized or essential clerical functions in support of a unit or office and related personnel.  May enter data and/or process documents and records.  The work includes operating standard office equipment.  Work is performed under the general supervision of the administrative support supervisor.

Primary Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Travels to assigned outpatient sites as directed for coverage
  • Completes tasks & assignments associated with administrative support functions
  • Verify insurances & collect necessary documents
  • Enter client information into the client charts & contact the call center to schedule appointments
  • Provides clerical support such as incidental typing, filing, ordering supplies, and sorting mail
  • Provides general clerical support to an office to include such tasks as data entry/maintenance, copying/distribution documents and materials, maintaining record keeping and filing systems, etc.
  • Maintains knowledge of programs associated with the daily functions in support of a unit or office

Minimum Qualifications:

High school diploma or GED AND Two years of general office or administrative experience.
