Human Resources Manager

AMC is currently looking for an HR Manager who will play a critical role in shaping our company’s culture and leading a variety of HR functions. You will be responsible for implementing HR policies, overseeing compensation and benefits, managing employee relations, and ensuring compliance. This position will report directly to our Vice President of Human Resources and have two direct reports.
 

Projects may include, but are not limited to:

  • Manage and oversee compensation, benefits and leave programs.
  • Oversee payroll and HRIS systems, recommend improvements and enhancements.
  • Analyze trends in compensation and benefits, research and propose competitive base and incentive pay programs.
  • Lead and manage two direct reports including an HR Generalist and HR Assistant.
  • Implement and manage HR policies and procedures and make recommendations. Manage employee handbook and make annual updates.
  • Manage position control including salary grades, job descriptions and job pricing. Conduct biennial market analysis.
  • Administer 401k and 409A plans for employees. Manage rollovers, distributions, new hires, and terminations.
  • Oversee and administer progressive counseling program, coaching and assisting managers with difficult situations.
  • Provide coaching to employees and managers as it relates to employment policies, procedures and performance issues.
  • Co-lead and champion culture committee including employee events, employee and managers meeting and employee celebrations.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree preferably in Human Resources or a related field. (SHRM-CP highly desired)
  • 7+ years of previous human resources experience.
  • Previous leadership experience required.
  • Excellent judgement, decision making and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong organizational and attention to detail.
  • Ability to adapt to the needs of the organization and employees.
  • Thorough knowledge of employment-related laws and regulations.
  • Ability to act with integrity, professionalism, and confidentiality.
  • Proficient with HRIS and technology.
