Gas Distribution Foreman with CDL

The Equix team is built on pride in the workmanship and abilities of our crews. Our Core group of in-house welders have extensive knowledge and background in pipeline and fabrication welding. We have a current opening for a Natural Gas Distribution Foreman. At Equix, we support our customers and stakeholders and constantly strive to exceed expectations with all of our services, which include: Pipeline Construction, Gas Distribution, Horizontal Directional Drilling, Facility Construction and Fabrication, and Trenching services.

 

Responsibilities:

• Leading the crews with clear communication skills
• Safe operation of construction equipment and work vehicles used in underground installation of natural gas distribution piping, power, and telecom infrastructure
• Take responsibility for quality of work, proper care of assigned equipment and report an accidents/incidents to Supervisors
• Adhere to and promote company and DOT Safety Policies
• Ability to understand job specific plans
• Other duties as assigned

 

Requirements:

• 3-5 years of experience with backhoes, excavators, and underground utilities
• Valid driver's license with clean record
• Ability to pass pre-employment and random drug screening
• Travel out of town to work on remote sites when needed
• Willingness to work outdoors in all weather conditions
• Knowledge with Locating underground lines and HDD Rigging
• Must be able to perform the physical demands of the job
• Class A or B CDL preferred
