Rotational Nanny (7 Days On/7 Days Off)

Position Summary:

 

A Greenwich family is looking for a second Rotational Nanny to join their team.

 

Ideally, the candidate is an organized self-starter who enjoys helping with a variety of tasks when the child is at school. We are looking for a team player who is thoughtful and hard-working.

 

This role is available for immediate hire and the family is looking for a long-term team member. The  proposed rotational schedule is 7 days on/7 days off with the ability to adjust if it works for the family and both Nannies.

 

Responsibilities:

• Daily care for a preschool-aged child
• Drive the child to and from school and activities
• Prepare healthy snacks and meals and encourage good eating habits
• Engage in developmentally appropriate activities and outings
• Help with daily tasks to keep the home neat and tidy. (There is a HK and 3 x weekly cleaning team)
• Work as a team with the principal and other staff to ensure the day runs smoothly
• Assist with the care of a small, well-trained dog

Qualifications:

• First Aid and CPR certified or willing to be certified
• Strong swimmer
• Excellent communication skills
• Outstanding references with related experience
• Valid driver's license and experience driving for other principals
• Valid passport and available to travel with the family

 

Schedule:

• This is a full-time, year-round position.
• Generally, Monday am to Monday am, 7 days on and 7 days off
• Private bedroom and bathroom provided.

 

Compensation:

• Compensation $50-60/hour commensurate with experience and qualifications.
• Benefits include an annual discretionary bonus, healthcare stipend, PTO, and paid holidays. A family car is available for use during the workday.
