Houseman

Job Summary
We are in search of a professional and experienced Houseman to join a private household in Beverly Hills. This role will play a crucial role in ensuring the home is well-maintained and in optimal condition while working alongside other household staff to ensure all duties are carried out efficiently and to the highest standard.

Responsibilities

• Maintain the overall condition of the properties. This includes repairing and installing items as needed.
• Maintain outdoor tasks, including watering plants, sweeping patios, and cleaning outdoor furniture
• Maintain the vehicles; serviced, fueled, and cleaned.

 

• Troubleshoot electronic equipment as needed
• Run errands, such as grocery shopping, picking up dry cleaning, and managing deliveries
• Set up and break down for events and parties
• Provide exceptional service to all residents and guests
• Ensure a high level of cleanliness and organization throughout the residence, including bedrooms, living spaces, and common areas
• Maintain a professional, discreet demeanor, ensuring confidentiality and privacy for residents

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience as a Houseman or in a similar role within a private residence or luxury hotel.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Capable of lifting up to 50 lbs.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
• Strong references from past employers

Schedule

• Generally, Monday through Friday, with flexibility to meet the needs of the principal
• Occasional evening and weekend assistance for events and parties

Compensation

• $40-50/hour depending on experience, plus a 401k, health insurance, paid vacation, and a uniform allowance.
