About Us: 

Southeastern Equipment is seeking an ERP Implementation Project Manager to lead and oversee the successful deployment of a new ERP system. This position is a contract role for 6-12 months, with the opportunity to manage a high-impact project that will streamline and optimize our business processes. This position is reports to the CFO and will work closely with the software vendor’s project manager and implementation team.  

Key Responsibilities: 

  • Lead the end-to-end implementation of the ERP system, including deployment and post-implementation support. 

  • Develop and manage the project plan, ensuring clear timelines, resource allocation, and deliverables. 

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including IT, Finance, Operations, and external vendors, to gather requirements and ensure alignment with business needs. 

  • Identify risks and proactively create mitigation strategies to keep the project on track. 

  • Ensure all aspects of the project are completed on time, within budget, and meet quality standards. 

  • Provide regular status updates to stakeholders and senior leadership, facilitating clear communication throughout the project lifecycle. 

  • Ensure data migration, integration, and user acceptance testing (UAT) are thoroughly planned and executed. 

  • Oversee change management efforts to ensure a smooth transition for end-users and provide ongoing support and training as needed. 

Qualifications: 

  • Exceptional communication and stakeholder management skills.  

  • 2+ years experience managing projects with a track record of on-time delivery and within budget. 

  • Understanding of ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, Microsoft Dynamics, NetSuite) and their implementation process. 

  • Excellent project management skills. Ability to lead cross-functional teams and manage vendor relationships effectively. 

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. 

  • Experience in business process re-engineering and change management. 

Preferred Qualifications: 

  • Experience with Microsoft Dynamics Business Central.  

  • Experience in Construction/Equipment Dealership. 

  • Familiarity with Agile and Waterfall project management methodologies. 

  • Ability to work independently and manage remote teams. 

  • PMP or equivalent certification achieved or in-process.
