Business Development Project Manager

The Role 

Amphenol Aerospace Operations (AAO) is seeking a Business Development Project Manager to work out of its state-of-the-art facility in Sidney, NY.

The key responsibilities of the Business Development Project Manager include, but are not limited to:

  • Manage the backlog of new product opportunities from start to finish; this includes managing cycle time and prioritizing execution of new product backlog from the opportunity development phase through production or our New Product Operations cell
  • Work directly with Marketing and Operations and manage SIOP activities to efficiently execute BD backlog
  • First-time build execution and communication
  • Responsible for managing the business development dashboard backlog
  • New product workflow KPI’s: cycle time, OTD, etc.
  • Coordination and management of new product SIOP activities
  • NPI / XP CAPEX budget strategy guidance
  • Weekly KPI reporting to Marketing and monthly executive reporting

Salary: $65,000 - $100,000

Location

  • Sidney, NY
    • 30 Minute Drive from Binghamton, NY
    • 20 Minute Drive from Oneonta, NY

The Person

The key skills and qualities of a Business Development Project Manager at Amphenol Aerospace Operations:

  • Requires ability to work with internal and external cross-functional engineering and manufacturing teams
  • Understanding of AAO product and manufacturing supply chain capabilities
  • B.S. degree in engineering, business, marketing, or equivalent professional experience
  • 2 plus years marketing or equivalent engineering / operations experience
  • AS400 / MRP experience preferred
  • Travel will be limited but occasional domestic opportunities may exist
  • Ability to work in a desk / office setting
