Position: Chiller Technician
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform assigned chiller maintenance and troubleshooting tasks in industrial and commercial settings (e.g., manufacturing, healthcare, educational buildings)
- Service, diagnose, and troubleshoot various types of chillers
- Utilize electrical and mechanical diagnostic tools
- Oversee customer service needs, including quoting and estimating jobs
- Perform preventative maintenance and repair of HVAC equipment, including chillers, split systems, rooftop units, cooling towers, and pumps
- Complete electronic documentation daily
- Operate company vehicle for service calls within a specified territory
- Assist with training and oversight of a small team of technicians
- Participate in specialized safety and equipment training programs
Requirements:
- 7+ years of experience repairing and troubleshooting industrial and commercial chiller systems
- Experience in servicing and maintaining commercial HVAC equipment
- Comprehensive understanding of HVAC equipment/systems service and repair, including complaint resolution, sales, and quoting
- EPA universal certification
- OSHA 10-hour certification preferred
