B. QUALIFICATIONS:
Ability to handle multiple tasks at once. Ability to follow up on issues, problems or request when appropriate. Ability to pay attention to details. Ability to prioritize workload. Ability to process information in compliance with agency rules, regulations, policies, and procedures. Skills in customer service. Ability to communicate with people at all levels of the agency department. Skills in organization. Skills in operating agency specific software programs. Good writing skills. Knowledge of current industry specific developments in assigned areas. Skilled in interpersonal communication. Knowledge of departmental goals and missions. Ability to work without supervision. Entry qualifications include an Associate degree AND two years of related work experience OR Bachelor degree in any related area OR four years related experience in the area of assignment OR one year of experience at the lower level or at equivalent position.

F. PERFORMANCE IMPROVEMENT
The Albany Area Community Service Board goal is to continually improve the delivery of service
by improvement of consumer outcomes and satisfaction. All employees have a role in performance
improvement and are expected to interact collaboratively with co-workers, and other contacts to
provide consistent, high-quality, consumer focused services.
G. ASSIGNED DUTIES
Performs complex processing, transactions or other technical –level duties for a function or program area. Researches and resolves related issues, and provides documentation, reporting, customer support and program analysis. May serve as a lead worker.
Duties Include:
Facilitate scheduling of Post Crisis DC appointments
Correspond with Office of Deaf Services for appointments & translator as needed
Complete Daily Services Not Authorized report one week in advance of current date
Monitor and track authorizations for IC3 program, complete authorizations as needed
Mainitain 96% or above of authorizations approval at all times
Coordinate verification of insurance for scheduled appointments three days in advance of current date
Collect co-pays and deductible amounts and complete cash sheet & send to billing office
Attend monthly outpatient staff meeting to disseminate information to clerical staff
Complete complex processing of documents and/or transactions for assigned organizational unit.
Provide technical assistance to customers and staff.
Coordinate routine administrative functions for the agency/office.
May assist in the operation, management, and planning of the clerical unit.
Perform job responsibilities with minimal supervision.
Serves as job expert or organization resource in assigned areas.
