Position Summary: Firmware Engineering Intern – 2025 Summer Internship Program
Location: Nashua, NH
Amphenol High Speed Products Group is the market leader for high speed, high bandwidth electrical connectors for the Telecom/Datacom market (Mobile Networks, Storage, Servers, Routers, Switches, etc.). Our products help to enable the electronics revolution and remain a key enabler for all the major Tier 1 OEM's globally. Our global headquarters are located in Nashua, NH and we have design, sales and manufacturing locations globally. We are currently seeking an Firmware Engineering Intern to join our team. The position will be located in Nashua, NH.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
This role supports the Firmware Engineering group in their work on High-Speed Cables.
What you'll do:
Gain Experience!
- Provide firmware and software support to product qualification, testing, and manufacturing
- Ensure that all firmware and software are well documented and can be supported by other team members
- Shadow full-time engineers to understand their role and function within a team
QUALIFICATIONS:
A strong candidate will have completed their sophomore or junior year in Computer Science or Electrical Engineering programs.
- ARM Cortex-M0/M0+ and embedded solutions from sub 32KB of Flash and up, including the use of GPIO pins, ADCs, Interrupts.
- Basic understanding of I2C, including how to debug and support a bit-banged bus
- Working knowledge of SWD style debugging
- Experience with source code control systems, including a habit to make regular check-ins
- Self-starter, able to work efficiently without having all details or requirements laid out on the table
- Ability to communicate with technical & non-technical people
- Ability to work in team environment
