Mechanical Engineering Intern - Summer 2025

Position: Mechanical Engineering Intern – 2025 Summer Intern Program

Location: Hamden, CT

We are currently seeking a Product Development Engineer to join our team to lead product innovation in design, validation, and launch phases.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

This role supports our Mechanical Engineering group. You will work closely with internal engineers and manufacturing personnel, supporting the development and validation of product prototypes through polit production. This position also works within the production area, creating and testing designs.

 

What you’ll do:

Gain Experience!

  • Support the product design effort through analysis, testing, and deployment
  • Generating detailed technical drawings
  • Gather test data to support R&D activities
  • Support production with fixture designs
  • Identify process deficiencies and help develop solutions to improve those deficiencies

QUALIFICATIONS:

A good candidate should be at least a sophomore in a Mechanical Engineering program

  • Experience with solid modeling tools (SolidWorks)
  • Ability to communicate with technical & non-technical people
  • Ability to work in team environment
