Junior Quality Assurance Administrator

PTW is hiring a Junior Quality Assurance (QA) Administrator to work in our busy fabrication shop! This is a full-time permanent position on dayshift, if you have previous experience working in a Quality department, we want to hear from you

A DAY IN THE LIFE…

  • Builds relationships and regularly interacts with various internal customers throughout the company, including the Quality Control (QC) team, engineering, project management, manufacturing management, and shop personnel. 
  • Prioritizes and manages multiple tasks simultaneously and demonstrates a sense of urgency along with action-oriented work ethic. 
  • Create and maintain project folder for controlled documents and quality event processes and forms. 
  • Prepare and provide Turnover documentation to internal teams and key stakeholders. 
  • Coordinate quality controls to ensure deliverables meet requirements
  • Enter, review, and update project quality information in systems and with responsible parties
  • Assists with Project Management in project quality questionnaires
  • Assists in locating Quality System related documents and in maintaining compliance with documentation requirements
  • Support the development and updated of QA/QC metrics
  • Participate in the training of new work procedures, programs, practices, and instructions related to documentation
  • Support training for Quality Systems processes as needed
  • Provides administrative support to QAQC department such as scheduling meetings, creating agendas, taking meeting minutes, budget tracking, supply ordering, and reception back up. 

EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS

  • Relevant post-secondary education is required. 
  • Previous experience working in a Quality department.
  • Advanced knowledge of MS Office software (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint), Visio, and Adobe PDF.
  • Demonstrates strong organizational skills, strong attention to detail, and strong multi-tasking ability. 
  • Strong communication skills both written and verbal. Will interface with all groups and services at all levels of the organization. 
  • Excellent time management and methodical skills. 

OTHER REQUIREMENTS

  • Must have own transportation as location is not accessible with public transportation.
  • Must have CSA approved steel-toed boots
