The Senior Environmental Employment (SEE) Program offers unique opportunities in Scientific, Technical, and Administrative/Office support for individuals age 55 and over and per EPA Policy applicants must be US Citizen to support the Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) through a grant administered program through National Experienced Workforce Solutions (NEW Solutions). Qualifications:Minimum of 5 year(s) of experience in Public Health OR BA/BS Degree in Environmental Science/Engineering/GIS or Computer Science OR Previously completed training in ARC GIS/ESRI - Experience required with Windows, MS Word, MS Excel, MS Access
- Other: SQL, GIS; Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Access)
Duties:Assist EPA Rule Manager in the review of Lead Service Line Inventories (LSLI) and maintaining their updates within ESRI/GIS portal. Provide recommendations to EPA staff on LSLI submittals. - Assist LSLI rule managers with review of Lead Service Line Inventories (LSLI); input data into SDWIS; evaluate WY and Tribal LSLI submittals for regulatory adequacy and make recommendations to EPA staff; prepare letters of violation including developing a detailed analysis of deficiencies for EPA staff review; interface and train PWSS to access ESRI/GIS portal for inventory including updating access agreements; participate in hybrid meetings to discuss LSLI; general data support of the LSLI team to assist in meeting regulatory deadlines associated with the Lead and Copper Rule Revisions. 75%
- Assist GIS team in processing inventories in the ESRI GIS data system 10%
- Query database and assist in data collection, data cleaning, and making contact name changes 10%
- Contact public water system operators to determine status of LSLI; share inventory requirements/assist PWSS as they develop their LSLI. 5%
Other:- Training in GIS / ESRI to input contact name/email changes
