Delivery Driver

Bobcat of Michiana is currently seeking a Local Delivery Driver for our Elkhart, IN location. This role is responsible for loading, unloading, and transporting equipment such as skid steers, excavators, and track loaders with a pickup truck. Drivers serve as the company advocate in every interaction with customers by showing professionalism and being helpful.  

 

This position offers perks such as a predictable schedule, local deliveries in northern Indiana and southwest Michigan and home every night. Operating new, safe, and well-maintained equipment is a company standard.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Deliver and pick up new, used, rental, and customer owned equipment
  • Ensure equipment arrives safely and on schedule
  • Comply with all DOT and company regulations
  • Complete rental condition report for rental equipment upon delivery and return
  • Maintain delivery equipment including trailer, pick-up truck, and associated equipment

 

Qualification:

  • Valid Class A driver's license and DOT Medical Certification
  • Clean driving record
  • 2+ years of commercial driving experience or completed truck driving school
  • Ability to effectively communicate with customers and internal personnel
  • Mechanical aptitude and knowledge of equipment is a plus
  • Previous experience hauling heavy equipment preferred
  • Lifting 50-75 lbs. frequently
  • Safety oriented
  • Reliable with a strong work ethic
