Parking Lot Supervisor (part-time)

Position Overview: 

This is a part-time position that supervises parking staff, assists guests and coordinates traffic flow during events, under the direction of the Parking Event Coordinator.

Essential Functions: include the following, other duties may be assigned:

  • Follows all Employee Safety Guidelines and building protocols
  • Ensures financial accountability and maximization of parking revenues
  • Ensures all Parking Attendants have the proper working equipment to operate prior to opening lots (scanners, printers, radios etc.)
  • Ensures that all Parking Attendants issue credit/debit card parking receipts, scans parking passes from pre-paid parkers.
  • Ensures all authorized list parkers are checked off in the VIP Parker app in the scanner before entering assigned lot
  • Serves as liaison for all guest related questions and concerns
  • Assists with implementation and monitoring of emergency preparedness plans and procedures
  • Trains and directs the work of Parking Attendants
  • Assists in the planning, monitoring, and coordinating of vehicular and pedestrian traffic flow
  • Resolves problems as they arise and assists in planning to avoid future problems
  • Ensures all Parking Policies and Procedures are followed and documents any issues in the daily supervisor report
  • Runs parking lots when there is a shortage of Parking Attendants 
  • Follows all golf cart operating procedures
  • Other duties as required or assigned

Education / Qualifications:                                          

  • High school diploma or GED is required plus one year of supervisory experience
  • A minimum of one year related experience and/or training is preferred
  • Must have valid Texas driver's license and good driving record
  • Must be customer-service oriented, have a fan-friendly attitude and a professional appearance at all times
  • Must be able to resolve customer concerns expeditiously and independently
  • Demonstrated ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously
  • Ability to calculate figures for all lane counters
  • Must be able to obtain Golf cart certification and training

Physical Demands / Work Environment:

  • Requires the ability to stand, sit, walk, talk, hear, reach with hands and arms, stoop, kneel, crouch, and climb stairs
  • Requires the ability to lift and/or move up to 25 pounds
  • Requires specific vision abilities:  close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision and ability to adjust focus
  • The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate, however; the noise level may be loud
  • Exposed to outside weather conditions and extreme temperatures
  • Regularly exposed to fumes or airborne particles
