Our Business Development Representative will provide direct sales support to our business development team, focusing on generating new business opportunities from self-driven and team collaborative outbound initiatives. This is a core role at the heart of our Sales function, you will collaborate alongside our Sales & Marketing team to identify target organizations per sector, qualify customers, build pipeline and drive deals
What You'll Be Doing
- As a Business Development Representative, you will collaborate with our Sales & Marketing team to identify target territories and markets for ViClarity products and services.
- Build contact lists for organizations within each of these target markets & sectors and mine through available sources to cleanse the list to provide quality leads for sales outbound communications.
- Use all tools such as Internet searches, email, social media, contact databases, voicemail etc. to assist in your research of potential clients and leads.
- Carry out proactive outbound lead generation: conducting high-volume outbound outreach via phone, email, and video calls to potential clients and prospects, to identify and generate new qualified opportunities for our Sales team.
- Through outreach activities, generate a minimum number of qualified client demos for our sales team per month.
- Keep our sales pipeline up to date and accurate by entering and maintaining daily activity and prospect information in our Salesforce CRM system.
- Utilize other CRM tools such as HubSpot to track lead interactions and measure campaign performance.
- Provide regular weekly and monthly reporting on business development activity.
Who You Are
- Outstanding communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills, excellent writing skills with attention to grammar and tone
- Ability to articulate and present our value proposition to prospective clients across varied markets and industries.
- No fear attitude in cold calling
- Strong technology competencies in software, web & CRM tools and MS Office products
- Effective in demoing software and facilitating sales opportunity discussions over the phone and via Zoom
- Ability to successfully manage and execute concurrent priorities, projects and initiatives while meeting deadlines
- Interest in growing a career in Software Sales (SaaS)
Who You Are - the desirables
- 3+ years of direct sales support experience preferred within the financial services industry
