Senior Accountant - Bank Operations
Applied Bank, Delaware's #1 rated bank, is seeking to fill a Senior Accountant position, based at the operations headquarters in Glen Mills, PA.
The Senior Accountant provides general accounting functions for daily operations of the bank. At all times, the accounting functions performed by the Senior Accountant will be in conformity with GAAP and the internal control structure of the Bank.

Essential Functions:
- Assist in the accounts payable functions in accordance with bank policies, GAAP and regulatory guidance.
- Produce daily journal entries to recognize the activities of the bank.
- Responsible for the production and recognition of daily accruals of income and expense items.
- Responsible for booking and monitoring fixed assets in accordance with GAAP
- Responsible for the reconciliation of various balance sheet accounts.
- Responsible for the daily production of interim financial statements
- Responsible for the inter-company daily settlement activity.
- Responsible for monthly activity reports for ATMs, Non-Interest income and expense, and Yield Analysis.
- Responsible for inter-company accounts receivable activity, including billing, reconciliation and funds transfer.
- Responsible for the daily production of interim financial statements with selected ratios.
- Assist in the preparation of the Quarterly Call Report.
- Assist in the production of the monthly Board of Directors package, including variance analysis.
- Assist in the yearly production of the budget and three-year strategic plan.
- Exercises discretion and independent judgement in performance of accounting responsibilities.
Education & Work Experience:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting from an accredited four-year college or university.
- Minimum of 2 years of related work experience required; previous experience in public accounting preferred.
