Sales Team Leader - Outside Sales

As a Sales Team Leader, you will be responsible for first learning our business and getting results. There is never anything more frustrating in sales than having a manager that hasn't done it before and isn't willing to get back to the basics with you. After your initial phase (2 - 4 months) you will begin leading and motivating a team of talented sales representatives in the supplemental benefits industry. Your leadership skills, combined with your expertise in sales and industry knowledge, will drive the team's success and help us achieve our objectives of realizing our own goals while making a significant impact on the client we serve.
Sales and Leadership Responsibilities:
- Drive new business at or above sales targets
- Effectively present products to clients and move though defined sales cycle quickly.
- Update CRM with new and current client information
- Attend weekly sales meeting and trainings to continually build industry knowledge and personal development
- Train new agents to predefined standards
- Lead a high-performing sales team by example, demonstrating a strong work ethic, professionalism, and dedication to excellence
- Lead by example within sales training and providing exceptional service to our clients

Sales Team Leader Requirements:
- 5 years of proven sales success; i.e. well above average results
- Previous leadership experience
- Valid driver's license and reliable vehicle
- 4 year bachelors degree (others will be considered with significant professional experience)
- Health and Life Insurance Producer license (or able to obtain upon offer - license reimbursement available)
