Manager, Responsibility

The Responsibility Manager is responsible for developing and maintaining a company-wide Responsibility & Sustainability (R&S) Materiality Assessment, Risk Management system, managing customer requests, and ensuring effective communication and engagement strategies.
Additionally, the role involves implementing global R&S reporting strategies and monitoring legal requirements to ensure company's compliance.
You’ll Make an Impact:
Materiality Assessment
- Develop, implement and maintain the Double Materiality Assessment required under the CSRD legislation. Analyze ESG gaps, develop a plan to address gaps with internal and external stakeholders, collect data and publish report.
- Define strategy and goals with Head of R&S.
- Define process/approach and methodology description for 3rd party assurance
Risk Management – 3rd Party Scorecards & Risk Assessment (company and facility level):
- Develop, implement and maintain company-wide R&S Risk Management system and processes in line with the international standards and industry best practices.
- Manage and provide data to external stakeholder groups and 3rd party scorecards (e.g. customers; investors; financial institutions; ESG rating companies – ISS, MSCI, Sustain analytics, S&P Global; EcoVadis; CDP; etc.) as requested. Identify and regularly update tools/applications to support company R&S obligations to customers and investors (e.g. EcoVadis, TIA Sustainability Assessor, Avetta, NQC, RBA ONLINE, etc.), analyze assessment results, recommend actions to improve company’s performance and minimize risk and communicate the outcome to all relevant stakeholders.
- Serve as an internal resource on ESG issues, including but not limited to Environmental, Labor & Human Rights, Ethics, Health & Safety and Social topics.
Customer Requests
- Develop, implement and manage the customer requests process for R&S topics including contract review and RFI, RFP, RFQ input, online questionnaires, tools and applications.
- Collaborate with teams, organizations and company subject matter experts to provide a consolidated and concise response to customer requests. Develop metrics for tracking and reporting progress on all aspects of customer requests. Publish metrics regularly.
Reporting
- Develop, implement and maintain the global R&S internal and external reporting strategy. Including but not limited to annual Sustainability Report, mandatory disclosures (e.g. TCFD, CSRD, CSDDD, SECR), ESG disclosures, R&S Dashboard, R&S company website and company intranet.
Communication & Engagement
- Develop, implement and maintain the global R&S communication and engagement strategy (internal and external) to meet the businesses reporting obligations, stakeholders’ expectations and improve company brand and reputation.
- Collaborate with various internal teams (e.g. Communications, Marketing):
- establish internal and external benchmarks including relevant measures.
- establish and manage company level / global communication plan.
- develop metrics for tracking and reporting progress on all aspects.
- maintain internal and external R&S sites, ensuring content is current and relevant.
- develop content for internal and external communications channels to further engage stakeholders with our responsibility and sustainability goals.
- present to Head of R&S for approval as required.
Legal Tracking
- Monitor and analyze future R&S legal requirements and/or changes in the existing applicable legislative and regulatory requirements, industry trends and best practices. Collaborate within the R&S team to maintain a register of the applicable requirements.
- When appropriate, ensure any updates to current policies, processes, procedures related to new/updated R&S legislation are identified, developed and implemented to ensure compliance.
- Monitor and update the Head of R&S on any social, political, economic and environmental trends that may have a significant/material impact on the company’s business activities and performance
Minimum Qualifications for Consideration:
- Degree in Environmental Engineering, EHS, CSR, Sustainability, Labor Relations
- 5 Years related experience in EHS, CSR, Sustainability, Ethics, Labor Relations, Corporate Compliance
