Assistant Director Parks and Recreation

The City of Muscatine is seeking an Assistant Director for the Parks and Recreation Department. This position is responsible to work in the overall administration of the department with a focus on leisure programs, athletic facility management, and project management. The successful candidate will have a strong desire to provide excellent customer service, strong supervisory abilities, and a passion for leisure and recreation services. A degree in Parks and Recreation Administration or related field and three years of experience is required. Salary range is $79,893 - $95.867. Residency within 30 air miles of Muscatine city limits is required. Must pass physical, drug screen, and background check post job offer.
