Finley Farms & The Ozark Mill - Cook (Line)

POSITION SUMMARY: 

We are seeking a passionate individual who will work well with a team to prioritize, a sense of urgency, and real concern for guest satisfaction.? They will prepare and portion foods for the resort’s food and beverage outlets.? 

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS: 

  • The cook will prepare and serve stocks, breading items, cold salads, dressings, sandwich making, vegetable prepping, and fryer work according to standard recipes.  

  • The cook will handle knives and operate small kitchen equipment safely.  

  • Be able to work with others in a close environment with a learning attitude  

  • Be able to lift up to 50 pounds on a regular basis.  

  • Follow the kitchen chain of commandIeChefs, Cook, I, Cook II, Cook III  

  • Perform other duties as assigned.  

  • ALL OTHER DUTIES AS ASSIGNED 

EXPERIENCE/QUALIFICATIONS: 

  • Minimum Degree Required:   ?High School Diploma or Equivalent?  

  • Certificate or License: Will have to obtain a food handler permit 

  • Years of experience: Varies 

TRAVEL REQUIREMENTS: 

  • Minimal 

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:  

  • Computer Work: Occasionally
  • Walking: Regularly
  • Sitting: Seldom / Never
  • Standing: Regularly 
  • Lifting up to 50lbs: Occasionally

  • Restaurant / Resort

  • Performs tasks and duties under general supervision, using established procedures and innovation. Chooses from limited alternatives to resolve problems. Occasional independent judgment is required to complete work assignments. Often makes recommendations to work procedures, policies, and practices.
