JOB FUNCTION
A Product Depanner Removes Reusable Pans From Product To Established Standards
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
- Depanning products according to established standards (I.E. time And internal temperature)
- Organization of product during cooling step to allow for FIFO (First In First Out) depanning process
- Repair of product defects prior to freezing step
- Monitoring depanned product and notifying the area supervisor, lead or oven tender when problems are detected
- Ensure racks used are labeled properly with the correct product information
- Must be able to learn and acquire knowledge of lot dates to assure all aspects are being performed properly
- Working With Value Stream Lead/Shift Manager to facilitate proper movement and storage of depanned products to correct directed locations including freezers.
- Accurately record necessary data and complete all paperwork required for the job
- Back-Up to Oven Tender
- Assist on the line as needed
- Maintain a clean, safe, and sanitary work area
- Participate In The GFSI/FSSC22000 yearly audit and assist in the development of procedures and corrective actions
- Ensure departmental process and procedures are performed and upheld
- Ensure quality, safety, and company standards are enforced at all times
- Ensure all training is being conducted for Deringers
- Delegate to Deringers tasks necessary to ensure smooth transition to next product
- Perform Other Duties As Needed
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES:
- High School Diploma or GED
- 6 months to 1 year of related experience
- Proven ability to read, write, and communicate in the English language
- Use of basic math skills
- Must be able to work independently
