Qualifications:Minimum of 20 year(s) of experience OR BA/BS Degree in Agriculture, natural resources, agronomy or related field of study - Enrollee will have served in multiple leadership positions, e.g., District Ranger, Deputy Forest Supervisor, etc., with the Forest Service.
- Experience required with Windows, MS Word, MS Excel
Duties:Assist the White River National Forest?s Forest Leadership Team (FLT), supervisor?s office staff and district staff with complex Natural Resource Management tasks focused on meeting Agency priorities. Enrollee will also provide mentorship and coaching to forest staff with the emphasis on developing the next generation of Agency employees. Other natural resources related planning, design, and implementation projects and activities will be assigned depending on the background, education, and skill set of the selected candidate. - Complex Tasks and Activities related to Forest Priorities, Regional Priorities, and Programs of the Secretary. 50%
- Mentoring and Coaching Regional Office Staff. 50%
