Amphenol High Speed and Commercial Products Groups are the market leaders for high speed, high bandwidth electrical connectors for the Telecom/Datacom and Diverse markets (Mobile Networks, Storage, Servers, Routers, Switches, etc.). Our products help to enable the electronics revolution and remain a key enabler for all the major Tier 1 OEMs globally. Our global headquarters are located in Nashua, NH and we have design, sales, and manufacturing locations globally. We are currently seeking a Field Applications Engineer to join our sales team based remotely in Austin, TX responsible for Dell Technologies.

As a Field Applications Engineer you will interface with our customers, and internal product development, product marketing, and sales teams.
- Engineering resource on the sales team to lead technical aspects of the sales cycle
- Provide technical marketing support for the development and implementation of Amphenol products
- Prepare materials and participate in product presentations
- Provide drawing, models to customer requests
- Provide customer service to solve complex interconnect problems and technical inquiries
- Help devise strategies to differentiate our products and solutions from our competitors
- Meet and exceed strategic objectives
- Travel will be required in the Austin / Round Rock, TX area for meetings with Dell Engineering and Amphenol Sales team. Other travel for internal meetings, Trade Shows and / or other customer meetings outside of Austin area as required.

QUALIFICATIONS:
- Bachelor's in mechanical or electrical engineering preferred
- Minimum of 5 years displayed experience providing product marketing and sales technical support to produce design wins
- Experience with modeling tools and Microsoft Office Products
SKILLS:
- Ability to effectively communicate across the engineering and managerial functions of a business
- Strong organization and presentation skills
- High level customer service and ability to build relationships with customers
- Modeling tools (Pro E or SolidWorks)
- Microsoft Office Products
The base salary range for this position is $90,750 – $130,00 USD annually. In determining rate of pay, Amphenol considers a variety of nondiscriminatory factors, including but not limited to geographic location, relevant industry experience, qualifications, skills, and education. It would be rare for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the range for a given role. Base salary is one facet of Amphenol's total rewards package which includes participation in our comprehensive benefits program with medical, dental, and vision benefits effective day 1, vacation, sick leave, personal days, paid holidays, life insurance, short/long term disability, and matching 401K. Our Field Applications Engineers are also eligible to participate in an annual incentive bonus program and provided with a company vehicle.
