Summer Internship 2025 - Accounting

Job Summary:  

The Accounting Intern supports the Finance Department in their daily tasks. 

 

Duties/Responsibilities: 

  • Assists a variety of Finance & Accounting departments, including Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Project Accounting, Payroll, and Staff Accounting, with daily functions.  

  • Conducts general clerical duties as required (typing, filing, meetings, etc.). Prepare memos, forms, and letters as needed.  

  • Assists with tracking and forecasting project budgets.  

  • Assists with monthly status reports and monthly closings.  

  • Assists with filing, maintaining, and distributing accounting documents, records, and reports.  

  • Perform other duties as assigned. 

 

Required Skills/Abilities:  

  • Strong oral and written communication skills required. 

  • Good interpersonal skills are required to work effectively with others. 

  • Ability to work independently and with a team 

  • Self-motivated individual with strong organizational, problem solving and analytical abilities. 

 

Education and Experience: 

  • College undergraduate pursuing a Finance or Accounting. 

  • Must have completed the first year of the undergraduate program. 

  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint).
