Office Assistant II - Finance Part Time

detail-oriented, loves to work in accounts receivable, enjoys creating tidy journal entries, and can bring spreadsheets to life.

MINIMUM REQUIRED EXPERIENCE, EDUCATION, AND TRAINING
- High school graduate or GED equivalent is required.
- An Associate's degree in finance, accounting, or a closely related field from an institution of higher learning that is regionally accredited through the U.S. Department of Education is required.
- An equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered.
- Students with 2 years of completed study towards a related field program may be considered.
- One (1) year of experience of working with the public is required.
- One (1) year of experience in clerical work is required.
PREFERRED EXPERIENCE, EDUCATION, AND TRAINING
- A Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, or a closely related field from an institution of higher learning is preferred.
- One (1) year of accounting, fiscal auditing, or double-entry bookkeeping experience is preferred.
MISCELLANEOUS REQUIREMENTS
- Must be at least 18 years of age.
- Must demonstrate excellent customer service to the department's internal or external customers.
- Must possess strong analytical and logical problem-solving skills, strong interpersonal communication and relational skills, good organizational, sound judgment, initiative, flexibility, and be detail oriented.
- Must possess no felony convictions at any time while employed by the City of Branson.
- Tattoos, Scarification, Body Art, and Body Modifications must meet City of Branson Employee Appearance at Work policy.
- Must be able to pass a background investigation and drug and alcohol screenings.
COMPENSATION: The starting hourly wage is $16.31 per hour. Paid time off available.

WORK HOURS: Schedule will be within standard Monday through Friday business hours.
WORK LOCATION: City of Branson, Missouri; City Hall. This is an in office position requiring work to be performed onsite.
