CDL Driver

Bay Insulation Systems of Wisconsin in Green Bay, WI is looking to hire a full-time CDL Driver. Would you like to work for a company that values their employees with a supportive team environment? If you have at least 2 years of verifiable driving experience operating a tractor trailer or equivalent, then we may have the job for you.

The CDL Driver is responsible for the delivery of insulation products to scheduled job sites based on a provided schedule. This will include ensuring on-time delivery and professional interaction with customers at delivery sites. This associate will assist with all warehouse functions as well as the loading and unloading of trucks. 

The job responsibilities include:

• Loads and unloads trucks of products and materials.
• Ensures truck maintenance standards are met.
• Performs daily pre-trip inspections and conducts minor maintenance as needed.
• Completes daily DOT logs in compliance with DOT regulations.
• Processes paperwork such as tickets and bills of lading.
• Ensures the customer signed the receipt of material and collects on COD charges.
• Verifies material counts are correct upon delivery to maintain inventory accuracy.

The qualifications for the position include a valid driver's license, a high school diploma or equivalent, two years of verifiable experience driving a tractor trailer or similar vehicle, ability to meet DOT regulations in order to obtain and maintain a med card, the ability to lift 50lbs and climb in and out of the vehicle and have the ability to read maps as needed.  The right person will assist between two of our locations and the driver will be trained on operating the forklift/clamp truck.  At times there will be no customer on-site, so the driver must have the expectation that they will need to unload.
