Trails Coordinator

Love trails and the great outdoors?
As a Trails Coordinator, you'll be at the heart of planning, developing, and enhancing our city's trail network.
From collaborating with community partners to ensuring trails are safe, accessible, and well-maintained,
this role combines creativity, and a passion for outdoor recreation.

 

MINIMUM REQUIRED EXPERIENCE, EDUCATION, AND TRAINING
A High school diploma or GED equivalent is required.
A Bachelor's degree from an institution of higher learning accredited by the U.S. Department of Education through one of its regional accrediting agencies is required; the primary focus of
  education must be in Natural Resource Management, Forestry, Parks and Recreation or a related field.
     * Associates degree in related field with a minimum of four (4) years directly related experience in trail design, construction, and maintenance
       may be substituted for a Bachelor's degree requirement.
Three (3) years of work experience in a related field is required.  
 
MISCELLANEOUS REQUIREMENTS
Must be at least 18 years of age.
Must possess a valid driver's license and must be insurable under the City of Branson's motor vehicle coverage when operating a vehicle as a part of the position. 
Must possess no felony convictions at any time while employed by the City of Branson.
Tattoos, Scarification, Body Art, and Body Modifications must meet City of Branson Employee Appearance at Work policy.
Must act safely and follow safety standards while at work. 
Must be able to pass a background investigation and drug and alcohol screenings.


COMPENSATION & BENEFITS:  The starting hourly wage is $24.67 per hour and will increase to $25.65 per hour after 6 months of successful probation.

WORK LOCATION:  City of Branson, Missouri; In and around the City of Branson, Missouri; This position requires work to be performed onsite.
