Cards Support Manager
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
- Responsible for the planning, coordination, and direction of all activities pertaining to EFCU Cards area.
- Develop, evaluate and implement new technologies, programs, policies and procedures in accordance with all local, state and federal laws and regulations. Inform staff of changes as they relate to their job and member relation functions.
- Maintain a current knowledge of EFCU cards.
- Serve as contact person for issues involving cards, answering questions received by both staff and members.
- Assist staff by answering questions, addressing and resolving sensitive member relation issues.
- Research member accounts for deposit, withdrawal, and loan payment discrepancies and process corrections and refunds on member accounts in a timely manner as determined necessary.
- Service as liaison between EFCU and chosen cards vendor.
- Monitor and assure compliance with all regulations pertaining to cards and dispute processes.
- Maintain effective employee relations. Conduct regular staff meetings to discuss procedures, new products and services, and general information.
- Monitor Card processes to ensure that a professional image and approach are constantly being exercised with both members and credit union staff.
- Maintain current knowledge of and compliance with all Credit Union policies and procedures, including compliance with the Bank Secrecy Act and all federal laws and regulations as set forth by the NCUA and other regulatory agencies.

ADDITIONAL FUNCTIONS:
- Attend meetings, conferences, seminars and training courses relating to areas of responsibility.
- Recommend new technologies and related equipment to maximize efficiencies of member relations by staff.
JOB SPECIFICATIONS:
- Requires professional, well-developed interpersonal skills for communicating with members, employees, and vendors on Credit Union-related matters.
- Requires thorough knowledge of the Credit Union's policies, procedures, programs, products and services as they relate to assigned areas of responsibility.
- Requires knowledge of management practices and techniques.
- Requires completion of high school education plus an equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Requires at least two to three years of progressive work experience in a financial institution services or operations position. Supervisory experience is preferred.
- Intermediate working knowledge of PC applications (Office Suite).
- Intermediate mathematical skills required (calculations and concepts involving decimals, percentages, fractions, etc.)
