Job Description
M. Braun, Inc. is currently seeking a full-time Human Resources Generalist to join our Administration Department. This individual should be highly motivated with the ability to prioritize and work independently once trained. This person will be responsible for assisting the Human Resources and Safety Manager with multiple human resources and safety functions in two NH facilities and virtually across the 8 additional states where employees are located.
Job functions include, but are not limited to:
- Assist with maintaining the employee files by documenting updates in compensation, benefits, position, reviews, etc.
- Post all open positions for employment, direct incoming resumes, arrange interviews, track applicants
- Prepare offer letters for potential hires. Oversee background check submission and drug testing.
- Prepare new hire welcome packages. Participate in new hire company and safety orientation and handbook review
- Manage annual open enrollment for all employee benefit lines
- Employee assistance with all benefit and employment related questions
- Monitor and maintain the employee training records and training requirements. Issue and ensure completion of required and annual trainings
- Assist with maintaining company compliance with all state and federal government agencies in the areas of human resources and safety
- Responsible for obtaining COLI’s as requested
- Responsible for vendor database management for information entry and ongoing required updates
- Serve as a member of the Safety Committee to monitor, promote and increase company safety
- Responsible for monitoring and maintaining safety inventory levels
- Responsible for monitoring and maintaining the respirator program
- Maintain all OSHA related documents and logs. Record and report on all accidents subject to workers compensation
- Assist with company compliance with all state and federal government agencies in the areas of human resources and safety (employees are currently located in nine states)
- Ensure completion of monthly safety inspections at two facilities
- Assist with securing travel VISA’s for both incoming and outgoing employees
- Participate in investigations when required
- Assist with arranging company events, company outings, employee holiday and anniversary gifts as well as gifts/acknowledgements for life events
- Responsible for all purchase requisitions for human resources and safety
Job Requirements
- Proficiency with MS Office (Word, Excel, and Outlook) required
- Knowledge of Adobe Acrobat a plus, but not required
- This individual should be able to work both independently and in a team-oriented, collaborative environment
- Primary location will be Stratham, NH, but must be able to report to Newmarket, NH when needed
- Experience with online ordering a plus

- Must be able to multi-task and handle time management in a high pressure environment
- Must have strong problem solving skills and possess the ability to resolve common problems
- Must be able to conduct themselves in a professional and courteous manner with M. Braun employees as well as customers and vendors
- Must have excellent written and verbal communication skills and the ability to maintain accurate detailed records
- Must be self-motivated with the ability to work efficiently under minimal supervision
Education Requirements
Bachelor’s Degree preferred

Physical and Mental Requirements
- Physical Requirement: Must have fine motor skills; be able to grasp small items; some light lifting and carrying; ability to do a repetitive motion; and the ability to sit for most of the day
- Visual Requirement: Must be able to visually read documents and a computer screen
- Hearing Requirement: Must be able to hear and speak on the phone and in person to convey information. Must be able to identify hazard sounds and be aware of the environment on the production floor for personal safety
- Mental Requirement: Comprehension, Organization, Reasoning, Decision Making, Communication, and Mathematics
