Office Assistant III - Utilities
Looking for a dynamic office role where no two days are the same?
As an Office Assistant III in the Utilities Department, you'll be at the heart of the action, handling everything from routine tasks
to fast-paced projects hat keep the Utilities Department running smoothly. With a focus on accuracy, efficiency, and collaboration,
you'll support all department divisions while showcasing your expertise in Microsoft Excel.
MINIMUM REQUIRED EXPERIENCE, EDUCATION, AND TRAINING
• A High school diploma or GED equivalent is required.
• Two (2) years of experience working with the public in a professional office is required.
PREFERED EXPERIENCE, EDUCATION, AND TRAINING
• Three (3) years of clerical experience in a professional office is preferred.
MISCELLANEOUS REQUIREMENTS
• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• Must demonstrate excellent customer service to the department's internal or external customers.
• Must possess a high degree of integrity, strong work ethic and ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Must possess a valid driver's license and must be insurable under the City of Branson's motor vehicle coverage when operating a vehicle as a part of the position.
• Must be proficient in Microsoft Office Suite or Google Sheets/Docs.
• Must possess strong analytical and logical problem-solving skills, strong interpersonal communication and relational skills, good organizational, project management skills,
sound judgment, initiative, flexibility, and be detail oriented.
• Must be able to pass a background investigation and drug and alcohol screenings.
COMPENSATION & BENEFITS: The starting hourly wage is $18.35 per hour and will increase to $19.09 per hour after 6 months of successful probation.

WORK HOURS: Monday through Friday, 8am to 4:30pm
WORK LOCATION: City of Branson, Missouri; City Hall. This is an in office position requiring work to be performed onsite.
