Part Time R&D Technician

Dessert Holdings is looking for a Part-Time R&D Technician working15 hours per week, who will support our R&D department. This position is at our Kennesaw, Georgia facility.

Schedule: 5 hours, 3 times per week.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Manage “Samples Freezer” by maintaining certain inventory stock levels, rotating products in and out based on shelf life and keeping all product lines organized.
• Provide accurate packing and shipping of product samples per “Samples requests” received.
• Work with warehouse personnel to have adequate stock moved to kitchen area.
• Manage packaging materials that are required for sample shipping. Work with Purchasing Dept. to maintain adequate stock.
• Photograph samples and upload pertinent sample shipment details in corporate data base.
• General housekeeping, maintenance and organization of “Samples” area.
• General cleaning of R & D cooler, R & D freezer whenever required.

REQUIREMENTS:

• Basic MS 365 Office proficiency (Outlook, Word, Excel, Sharepoint)
• FEDEX Shipping software oversight
• Able to lift, push, and pull 50+ pounds and stand for hours at a time
• QA/R&D laboratory experience is a plus
• Bilingual in English/Spanish is a plus
• Pallet jack experience is a plus
