Senior Accountant

Our Senior Account will utilize their analytical, problem solving, and detail skills to make an incredible impact to our Finance Team.  

What You'll Do:

• Perform advanced and specialized accounting assignments, usually involving complex and confidential data, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and efficiency in all financial operations.
• Ensure Compliance with accounting standards and tax regulations.
• Prepare and review formal financial statements, reports, and budgets, providing insights and analysis
• Analyze financial data, trends and variances to identify opportunities for improvement and cost saving strategies.
• Develop revenue and expenditure analysis and forecasts for long-term planning.

Requirements:

• A Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting or similar field OR four (4) years of full time employment in Finance/Accounting
• An additional five (5) years experience working in a full-time Finance/Accounting role.
• Experience within a governmental or public sector organization is preferred. 
• Demonstrated experience in leading teams and supervising staff is preferred. 
• CPA, CGFM or CGMA certification is preferred. 
• A valid driver's license.

Compensation and Benefits:  

• Full Time, Exempt position starting at $29.45 per hour which when annualized is $61,274 per year and will increase to $30.63 per hour which when annualized is $63,725.12 after completing a six (6) month probationary period.
