Quality Inspector, Team Lead
Summary
The Lead Quality Inspector is responsible for all phases of Inspections including the training and supervision of all quality inspectors. Qualified candidates will lead the teams review of all Test Data/Process sheets and approve them to the conformance to customer specifications.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Provide Training to Final Inspectors – Ensure employees adhere to training requirements.
- Supervises all aspects of Inspection Department: Final, Incoming, and In-Process.
- Manage Quality Records – FAI’s/Final Inspection Records/Test Reports.
- Review Test Data Sheets – Conformance to customer specifications.
- Review and Approve Process Sheets – Conformance to customer specifications.
- Manage Final Inspection MRB – Manage NCs identified during QA/QC inspections.
- Understanding of Customer required Engineering Testing - ATP (Accepted Test Procedure).
- Makes recommendations to the Quality Manager to improve quality control, maintenance, support, and training programs.
- Implements long-term objectives for Quality Department as directed by the Quality Manager.
- Perform other duties as assigned by Manager.
Job Requirements
- Demonstrates Team approach to projects.
- Strong Understanding of Word Processing and Spreadsheets.
- Strong in Decision making, troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
- Previous work history in electro-mechanical manufacturing desired (electrical or RF/Microwave experience preferred).
- Experience in FAI reporting/Quality Codes/Customer Drawing Review/PO Review.
- Familiarity with materials and process specifications – Special Testing Requirements.
- Experience with military specifications/testing requirements.
- Experience in RF connector, cable harness manufacturing is desired.
