Executive Assistant
Join the heart of city operations! We're looking for a detail-oriented Executive Assistant to support the City Administrator's Office.
Duties include handling calls, emails, and public inquiries. Organizing meetings, and preparing reports while supporting city leadership.
What You'll Do:
- Provide professional staff assistance to the City Administrator.
- Managing the Administration Office's budget and forecasting expected needs.
- Composes and assimilates correspondence for the City Administration Office.
- Directs walk-in visitors and telephone calls to appropriate resources.
- Receives complaints and provides summary to present to the City Administrator to investigate.
- Prepares and reviews City Administrator office purchase orders, requisitions, invoices, etc.
- Coordinates with community leaders regarding proclamations, citizenship awards, and volunteer honors.

Requirements:
• Graduation from a college or university regionally accredited through the U.S. Department of Education with a degree in Business or Public Administration or a closely related field is required.
o Four (4) years of directly related professional experience may be substituted for the degree requirement as determined by the City Administrator.
• One (1) year of related experience serving in an administrative support role is required.

Miscellaneous Requirements:
• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• Must be highly engaged in the department's goals, and be able to work cooperatively with Administration leadership in achieving those goals.
• Must demonstrate excellent customer service to the department's internal and external customers.
• Must possess a valid driver's license and must be insurable under the City of Branson's motor vehicle coverage when operating a vehicle as a part of the position
• Must be able to pass a background investigation as well as drug and alcohol screenings.

Work Location: City of Branson, Missouri, City Hall. This is an in office position requiring work to be performed onsite.
