About the Role

Under the general direction of the Human Resources Supervisor, the Care Recruitment Specialist will perform various tasks to develop and implement effective recruiting strategies aimed at attracting a diverse pool of qualified talent for our organization. Key responsibilities include coordinating job fairs, recruitment events, and interviews.

What You Will Do

  • Collaborate with the HR Department to identify staffing needs for field positions.
  •  Implement creative recruiting methods and strategies tailored to the organization's needs.
  •  Source prospective candidates through online databases and community-based organizations.
  • Assist with job postings and maintain our Applicant Tracking System.
  •  Proactively engage candidates and focus on driving recruitment metrics.
  • Organize and participate in recruiting events and career fairs.
  •  Develop recruitment materials in consultation with the HR Supervisor.
  • Maintain inventory for recruitment event materials and manage fund requests.
  •  Communicate effectively with candidates regarding the application and hiring process.
  •  Schedule and conduct interviews and assist in evaluating candidates.
  •  Build and nurture professional relationships with candidates and local organizations.
  •  Travel for recruitment and networking events as needed.
  •  Stay up to date with recruiting trends and best practices.
  •  Ensure compliance with all employment laws and company policies.
  •  Provide excellent customer service and accurate information to candidates.

What You Need

  •  High school graduate or equivalent, plus an Associate's Degree in HR, Business Administration, or a related field. (2 years of experience may waive 1 year of education).
  •  Bilingual in English and Spanish required.
  • Minimum of 2 years of recruiting or talent acquisition experience; knowledge of employment law is a plus.
  • Strong organizational, time-management, and problem-solving skills.
  •  Proficient in MS Office Suite (Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, Word, Teams) and cloud-based e-signature platforms like HelloSign or DocuSign.
  •  Must have a valid California Driver's License.
