Financial Analyst

We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Financial Analyst to join our Senior Financial Team. This position plays a key role in financial and tax reporting processes, as well as providing analysis to drive company performance. As a Financial Analyst, you will support the preparation of financial reports, perform analysis on key financial metrics, and contribute to the year-end closing process, including ASC842 reporting.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Prepare and analyze key financial metrics for management.
- Conduct trend and variance analysis on margins, income statements, and balance sheets.
- Assist in the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports.
- Support the year-end closing process and analysis, including ASC842 reporting.
- Assist with internal and external audit functions.
- Analyze expenditures and identify potential cost-saving opportunities.
- Participate in business process improvement planning.
- Contribute to due diligence for potential acquisitions.
- Lead teams and presentations as required.
- Occasional travel required.
- Undertake various special projects as requested.
Qualifications:
- Education: Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field required.
- Experience: Minimum of four years of experience in public/private accounting (preferably in manufacturing), and at least two years in a financial analyst role.
- Skills and Abilities:
- Strong ability to prioritize and meet deadlines.
- Excellent time management skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks concurrently.
- Strong problem-solving abilities.
- Advanced technical accounting skills.
- Excellent written and oral communication skills.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
