Financial Analyst

We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Financial Analyst to join our Senior Financial Team. This position plays a key role in financial and tax reporting processes, as well as providing analysis to drive company performance. As a Financial Analyst, you will support the preparation of financial reports, perform analysis on key financial metrics, and contribute to the year-end closing process, including ASC842 reporting.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Prepare and analyze key financial metrics for management.
  • Conduct trend and variance analysis on margins, income statements, and balance sheets.
  • Assist in the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports.
  • Support the year-end closing process and analysis, including ASC842 reporting.
  • Assist with internal and external audit functions.
  • Analyze expenditures and identify potential cost-saving opportunities.
  • Participate in business process improvement planning.
  • Contribute to due diligence for potential acquisitions.
  • Lead teams and presentations as required.
  • Occasional travel required.
  • Undertake various special projects as requested.

Qualifications:

  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field required.
  • Experience: Minimum of four years of experience in public/private accounting (preferably in manufacturing), and at least two years in a financial analyst role.
  • Skills and Abilities:
    • Strong ability to prioritize and meet deadlines.
    • Excellent time management skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks concurrently.
    • Strong problem-solving abilities.
    • Advanced technical accounting skills.
    • Excellent written and oral communication skills.
    • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
