Job Title: Accounting Clerk

Job Overview:

An Accounting Clerk is responsible for maintaining accurate financial records and supporting the accounting department through various clerical and bookkeeping tasks. This role involves processing financial transactions, preparing reports, and ensuring compliance with accounting standards. It includes assisting the accounting staff with other duties as assigned.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Process accounts payable and receivable transactions.
  • Verify and reconcile invoices and payment discrepancies.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records in the accounting system.
  • Record financial transactions accurately and in a timely manner.
  • Prepare and maintain accounting documents, including invoices, bank deposits, and general ledger postings.
  • File invoices and other documentation.

  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data entry.
  • Bachelor’s degree in accounting or a related field preferred but not required.
  • Familiarity with basic accounting principles and terminology.
