Role OVERVIEW

We are looking for a Marketing Manager with strong project management, operational oversight, and data-driven decision-making capabilities to join our growing marketing team. This role is pivotal in collaborating across departments, managing end-to-end brand campaigns, and ensuring the seamless execution of internal and external initiatives. The Marketing Manager will lead the coordination of timelines, budgets, resources, and performance metrics, delivering successful marketing initiatives that align with business objectives.

In this role, you will be responsible for driving marketing operations through robust data analysis, using insights to inform strategic decisions and optimize project outcomes. You will oversee partnerships with external creative agencies and work closely with internal teams to ensure cohesive marketing strategies, while managing processes to enhance efficiency, communication, and performance. The ideal candidate is a data-oriented leader with a strong focus on measurable results and operational excellence.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

The following are the duties associated with being a Cochran Account Executive.  Other duties may be assigned.

  • Project Management: Lead the planning, execution, and tracking of marketing projects, ensuring milestones, budgets, and resources are efficiently managed.
  • Operations and Process Optimization: Improve workflows and processes to drive operational efficiency and streamline project delivery.
  • Data-Driven Decision Making: Utilize analytics to evaluate campaign performance, optimize resources, and identify areas for continuous improvement. Track progress against key business OKRs and KPIs.
  • RFP Response: Oversee the regional marketing and project pursuit processes, ensuring timely, accurate responses and workflow optimization.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with project executives, managers, and customer service teams to create integrated marketing strategies that align with broader business goals.
  • Strategic Campaign Delivery: Develop, execute, and report on high-impact marketing campaigns, ensuring alignment with Cochran's values and objectives.
  • Digital Marketing Expertise: Oversee digital marketing efforts, including SEO/SEM, Google Analytics, social media, and email marketing, to increase brand visibility and engagement.
  • Resource and Budget Management: Effectively manage marketing resources and budgets to ensure cost-effective and impactful operations.

Education/Experience

Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, Communications, or equivalent experience. 5+ years in marketing project management, preferably within an agency or in-house marketing department.

Marketing Knowledge

Deep understanding of modern marketing practices, including digital strategies, content creation, and brand management.

Project Management Expertise

Proven track record in managing complex marketing projects with a focus on operations and data-driven results.

Industry Familiarity

Experience in the electrical, technology, or AEC sectors to develop relevant, impactful strategies.

Customer-Centric Focus

Experience creating marketing strategies that address the needs of both internal and external customers.

Language Ability

Ability to read, analyze and interpret technical procedures, construction drawings and specifications, engineering narrative, and/or governmental regulations.  Ability to write reports, business correspondence and procedure manuals.  Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers, and the general public.  Ability to speak, read and write English fluently.

Math Ability

Ability to work with mathematical concepts such as probability and statistical inference, and fundamentals of plane and solid geometry and trigonometry. Ability to apply concepts such as fractions, percentages, ratios, and proportions to practical situations.

Reasoning Ability

Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists. Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.

Computer Skills

To perform this job successfully, an individual should have knowledge of Word Processing software; Spreadsheet software and Project Management software.
