Contracts Intern

Summary

The Contracts Intern will assist the sales department in maintaining trademark compliance and the requirements of commercial contracts, government subcontracts, international trade contracts. This position will perform tasks to reduce the company’s exposure to various contract risks that pose potential liabilities to the business.  The position provides hands-on experience in an exciting Electronics Manufacturing environment.  This is a full-time, on-site internship for the summer of 2025.


Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Send contractual notifications to customers prior to PO acceptance.
  • Audit executed Distribution Contracts, General Terms Agreements & similar long term business agreements. Develop a searchable database that succinctly aggregates the contract data in a user-friendly format.
  • Audit internal records of Non-Disclosure Agreements and develop a searchable database of current /expired agreements.
  • Work with the contract review team to monitor contract status from receipt up until execution and troubleshoot any issues that hold up PO acceptance.
  • Monitor the status of registered trademarks, research & investigate potential trademarks violations, and interface with external counsel on trademark enforcement actions.

Qualifications/Requirements

  • Graduate of or currently enrolled in a college or university Business Administration, Political Sciences or similar program.
  • Ability to identify, organize, and maintain confidential information.
  • Highly detail oriented.
  • Self-starter with strong problem solving skills.
  • Ability to cross-functionally collaborate.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office suite of software.
