Director of Product Management and Marketing

Amphenol (www.amphenol.com ) is looking for a Director of Product Management & Marketing to join their aggressively growing HSIO Connector business. The successful candidate will be responsible for strategic marketing leadership as well as driving the development of new products and customers. They will be responsible for leading the business unit’s Global Product Management and Marketing team to identify, develop, and capture business opportunities worldwide in conjunction with the with the global Amphenol sales and product development teams.

The High-Speed Connectors Division of Amphenol is experiencing tremendous growth and this opportunity is a result of that growth. This is a role for a dynamic candidate looking for challenges and opportunities. Amphenol is a very decentralized organization; one that is able to make decisions quickly and without a lot of red tape involved and where great ideas are given consideration.

REQUIREMENTS OF ROLE:

• Well organized and comfortable working in a matrixed environment with ability to communicate effectively with cross functional, geographically dispersed and culturally diverse marketing, engineering, quality and manufacturing teams, vendors and customers

• Demonstrated ability to conduct detailed financial analysis

• Skilled at customer relations; strong business planning and implementation skills

• Demonstrated ability to establish clear performance expectations and coach staff towards success

• Strong verbal, written, and presentation communication skills; ability to persuade and negotiate on sales, service, contract, and other business matters; Strong “selling” skills

• Demonstrated executive-level management skills; well versed in culture and policy development

• Ability to foster morale and motivate performance

• Willingness and ability to travel domestically and internationally up to 50%
