The Engineering Quality Manager plays a crucial role in ensuring that a company's products or services meet established quality standards. This role is essential for maintaining high-quality standards and ensuring customer satisfaction.
This position manages the Quality Engineering team to support new product development, process quality, CAPA, post-market compliance, supplier management, project management, internal & external auditing, and risk management activities
The ideal candidate will have strong leadership skills, extensive knowledge of quality management standards, as well as experience in risk management, business continuity plans, and performance monitoring.
You Will Make an Impact By:
- Providing technical support, leadership and quality guidance to multi-functional teams, including Quality, Regulatory, R&D, Operations, Engineering, and Marketing.
- Supporting the development and validation of new products and production lines.
- Continuous Improvement: Leading continuous improvement initiatives to enhance product and service quality, process efficiency and customer satisfaction. Establishing and maintaining quality metrics and utilizes KPIs to drive improvements.
- Developing, implementing, and improving efficient quality systems processes.
- Strategic Goals: Collaborating with management to set and implement strategic quality goals.
- Problem-Solving: Leading problem-solving efforts related to quality issues. Utilize root cause analysis and statistical techniques for complex problem solving of technical product and manufacturing issues.
- Managing the CAPA program (to include Complaints, SCARs, NCMRs, Audit Non-Conformances and Corrective & Preventive Action projects). Ensuring thorough investigations and implement effective corrective actions to prevent recurring issues.
- Risk Management: Applying basic risk management principles to aspects of the quality system (product development, etc.) and developing strategies to mitigate these risks.
- Team Coordination: Leading and coordinating the activities of the Quality Assurance team. Selecting, developing, and evaluating Quality Engineering staff to support all aspects of design and manufacturing quality.
- Training and Development: Providing training and support to staff on quality management principles, standards and procedures.
- Audits Management: Planning, conducting, and overseeing internal and external audits to ensure compliance with quality standards.
- Documentation and Analysis: Maintaining accurate documentation and performing statistical analysis to track quality metrics
Required Qualifications for Consideration:
- Bachelor's Degree of Engineering relative to Electronics, Mechanical, Material Science or RF Products Field.
- 10+ Years Working Experience in related field & industry
- Knowledge of quality assurance methodologies
- Understanding of business continuity and risk management principles.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and leadership abilities
You Will Excite Us If You:
- Are a Certified Quality Manager (CQM), Certified Quality Engineer (CQE) or similar certification preferred
- Have proficiency in data analysis and statistical methods, including Business Objects and Power BI.
