Electrical Chargehands - Vancouver, BC

At Plan Group, we work on landmark projects that push the boundaries of what's possible, as the Electrical and Technology contractor for the New St. Paul's Hospital project, we are expanding our team and seeking driven Electrical Chargehands to work on-site in Vancouver, BC.

This is an exceptional managerial opportunity for you to acquire hands-on experience in a dynamic environment, working alongside a talented team on a significant project.

We are looking for Electrical Chargehands with these core competencies to join our team:

  • Analytical Thinking

  • Organizational and Environmental Awareness
  • Planning and Organizing T.I.M.E.
  • Results Orientation
  • Risk Management
  • Strategic Thinking
  • Safety standards – Work Safe BC
  • Ability to deal with varying personalities

Additionally, you must meet the following experience requirements:

  • Carry a red seal licence as an Electrician
  • 5-10 years of construction experience
  • 5-10 years of work experience in site supervision or management within a construction environment
  • Current WAH (Working at Heights)
  • Current WHMIS (Workplace Hazardous Materials Information System)
  • Field Safety Representative (FSR) Certification is a definite asset
  • Reliable transportation, whether it be through public transit or a bike route
  • Must be bondable

Some other advantages of working with Plan Group:

  • Work Hours: 40 hours/week. Shift 1: Mon-Fri. Shift 2: Tues-Fri (rotates monthly to Mon-Thurs).
  • Compensation: Unionized wages & benefits with IBEW Local 213. Chargehand B Hourly rate: $53.73, Chargehand A Hourly rate: $59.00
