We seeking an experienced and dynamic Sr Director, Business Applications (Head of Applications & Architecture Services) to oversee and drive the development, maintenance, and innovation of our SAP systems, web applications, APIs, automation processes, and cutting-edge technologies. This position can be based out of Goa or Hyderabad. 

The ideal candidate will possess deep expertise in SAP and high-level experience across a range of other technologies, including Customer and Internal-facing web applications, Robotic Process Automation (RPA), Testing Automation, Data, B2Bi, Microsoft technologies, and AI/Gen AI architectures. As a member of the IT senior leadership team, and reporting to the Head of IT, the Head of IT Applications and Architecture is an influential role, making investment and priority trade-off decisions, negotiating and managing vendor contracts, and recruiting, retaining, and developing high performing teams. The Head of IT Application and Architecture Services will provide vision and leadership to a global team. The Head of IT Application and Architecture Services will play a key role in digital transformation and change management and overcome many cultural challenges that arise on the journey to the cloud.

This role also works closely with the Head Of IT and peer IT leaders, including Infrastructure & Cloud Services and Information Security, to design and execute on the company’s technology roadmap. Head of IT Applications is a forward-looking technology leader who can develop an application strategy and drive through to execution and support.

Key Responsibilities:

• Technology & Business Partnership: Collaborate closely with business leadership to design, optimize, and rationalize the application portfolio, ensuring alignment with strategic objectives and operational efficiency.
• SAP Leadership: Lead and manage SAP solutions, including configuration, integration, and support to maximize business value.
• Web & API Development: Oversee the development and deployment of customer and internal-facing web applications and API-driven integrations.
• Automation & AI Integration: Spearhead the implementation of RPA, Testing Automation, and AI/Gen AI solutions to improve business processes and drive innovation.
• Data & Integration Strategy: Oversee scalable and secure analytics, data management and B2Bi solutions to enhance enterprise-wide connectivity.
• Microsoft & Cloud Technologies: Leverage Microsoft platforms (Azure, .NET, Power Platform) to build resilient and modern applications.
• Governance & Best Practices: Establish and enforce development standards, best practices, and documentation to ensure consistency and maintainability.
• Leadership & Mentorship: Provide technical direction and mentorship to development teams while collaborating with stakeholders across IT and business functions.

Key Requirements:

• SAP Expertise: Extensive hands-on experience with SAP systems, including configuration, integration, and support of SAP applications in a large enterprise environment.
• Experience in Web Applications: High-level expertise in the design, development, and management of customer and internal-facing web applications.
• API Management: Strong understanding of API design, integration, and management.
• RPA and Automation: High level understanding of Robotic Process Automation (RPA), testing automation, and continuous integration.
• Data & B2Bi: Strong understanding of business analytics, data management, data integrations, and B2Bi protocols for exchanging data across enterprises.
• Microsoft Technologies: Familiarity with Microsoft technologies such as Azure, .NET, Power Platform, and Power Automate.
• AI/Gen AI: Practical knowledge of AI/Gen AI frameworks, tools, and applications, with experience in their integration and optimization in enterprise systems.
• Leadership: Proven track record of leading development teams, managing stakeholders, and driving successful technology initiatives.
• Hiring & Growing Talent: Hire, grow and develop global talent pool to deliver best in class business solutions at cost effective price points.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s and/or master’s degree in computer science, engineering, business or related field.
• Broad experience in Application technologies (especially Artificial Intelligence)
• Experience in Agile development methodologies and DevOps practices.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively engage with both technical teams and business stakeholders.
