Test Operator

The Test Operator is responsible for testing electronic assemblies such as cable and wire harnesses.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • The Test Operator will play a key role in ensuring the quality and safety of our products in our manufacturing site. Key responsibilities include using our guidelines and policies to test products for conformance, safety and quality control. You will also be expected to read blueprints and diagrams, and support inventory accuracy.
  • This role involves using a wide range of skills such as using hand and electric tools, operating Test Equipment’s and computers, reading wiring diagrams and also inspecting components used for assembly.
  • Completes documentation including travelers, defect recording, NPNs, etc.
  • Performs other tasks as directed.

Job Requirements

  • Understanding of direct and alternating currents, electrical safety and ability to troubleshoot low-voltage DC wiring, use a multi-meter to check for continuity and assemble/disassemble wiring harness and connectors.
  • Must be able to meet the physical requirements of the job which include bending, lifting equipment up to 25 pounds.
  • High level of patience for repetitive work
  • 1 or 2+ years relevant work experience in electronics preferred.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office software
  • Ability to work flexible hours/shifts and overtime
