Project Coordinator/Expeditor

PTW is hiring a Project Coordinator/Project Expeditor to support our Steel Fabrication team in Rocky View County, AB! Do you like to be the go-to person supporting project managers and working with clients as a project coordinator? A DAY IN THE LIFE…

• Support the coordination, execution, and completion of various projects.
• Working directly with the client to provide project deliverables.
• Support the scheduling and reporting requirements of projects by performing a variety of duties such as:
  • Prepare and update various project schedules
  • Monitor project costs and progress
  • Prepare a variety of progress reports for the project team
• Prepare purchase orders, and invoices for monthly reporting
• Communicate potential risks of delays to the project manager and propose solutions to mitigate disruptions
• Coordinate with the site team to ensure materials are available when required for project milestones
• Liaise with transportation services to ensure safe and timely deliveries, complying with site safety and quality standards

EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS

• 3- 5 years experience in a similar role.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Proficient knowledge of Microsoft Office.
• Exceptional time management skills with the ability to prioritize and execute tasks quickly.
• Outstanding customer service skills are essential.

OTHER REQUIREMENTS:

• Must be authorized to work in Canada.
• Reliable transportation is required, as facility is not accessible by public transportation at this time.
