Electronic Log Auditor

The Log Auditor will ensure driver compliance by auditing logs, training drivers on hours-of-service compliance, and providing exceptional customer service. They will identify and troubleshoot issues with Driver tablets and meet department objectives while following DOT regulations.
- High School diploma required and 2-4 years of experience in a customer-driven environment preferred.
- Experience in the transportation industry is preferred but not required.
- Knowledge of Department of Transportation regulations is preferred but not required.
- Experience in developing strong relationships (personal/practical needs) to effectively manage, plan, and prioritize workload.
- The ability to learn and become proficient in Omnitracs, SOTI, and the other web applications used in performing the responsibilities of this position.
- Strong understanding of how to use Android-based tablets/phones.
- Must be proficient in responding to internal customer situations and needs as required.
- Excellent organizational skills and ability to manage and prioritize workload in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong planning and problem-solving skills; able to identify and resolve problems in a timely manner.
- Able to gather and analyze information and develop alternative solutions.
- Must be able to demonstrate a proactive commitment to ATS corporate values and the success of all staff.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, and Outlook) required.
- Excellent communication skills (written, listening, and verbal).
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Receive incoming and place outgoing calls to and from ATS drivers related to log violations, in a call center environment.
- Review paper and electronic logs for compliance regarding hours of service and DOT regulations.
- Conduct daily log audits to identify false logs, hours of service (HOS) violations, and personal conveyance misuse and initiate corrective action procedures.
- Maintains computer systems and files related to log compliance, including various reports and spreadsheets.
- Provides excellent customer service to drivers and internal partners on compliance-related items.
- Identifies and troubleshoots driver issues related to Android-based tablets and hours of service.
- Implements corrective and/or disciplinary action as needed.
- Performs training on driver hours of service compliance.
- Meets all company and department objectives and deadlines with accuracy.
- Follows all company and department policies and procedures.

- Complete work responsibilities outside of normal business hours as needed.

Compensation & Benefits:
- The anticipated hourly pay range for this position is between $22.50 - $27.50. Hourly pay rate offered is determined by relevant experience, education, certifications, and geographic location as compared to others doing substantially similar work . In addition to the hourly rate of pay, employees may be eligible for performance-based incentives, which can vary depending on individual and/or company performance.
