Construction Associate Attorney (CIN/CLE/COL)

UB Greensfelder currently has a full-time opening for a mid-level Associate attorney in the Cincinnati, Cleveland or Columbus office, with Cincinnati strongly preferred. The work will involve all manners of dispute resolution and contract preparation and negotiation. Our clients include contractors, design-builders, subcontractors, supplies owners, architects and engineers. An Ohio law license is required.

Qualified Applicants Will Have:

• 3+ years’ litigation experience; construction and/or litigation preferred.
• Experience with taking and defending fact, party, and expert depositions; preparing and responding to discovery requests; preparing a case for trial/arbitration including actual participation in an arbitration or trial.
• Experience with negotiation and preparation of contracts.
• Ability to effectively communicate with clients and convey competence in terms of the legal issues and the strategic practical issues in construction disputes.
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
